German SME Summit 2026

For the seventeenth time, we honoured the best consultants serving the German Mittelstand — at the 11th Deutscher Mittelstands-Summit at the Kongresshalle Heidelberg, at the invitation of compamedia and together with more than 1,000 guests. The award-winning firms are distinguished by what matters in challenging times: operational closeness, strength in delivery, personal reliability. What clients say about the firms bearing the seal is remarkably consistent across every size category: a relationship of equals, honesty, a pragmatic focus on solutions, trust. Interpath Deutschland, M&L AG and the Tippenhauer Group were named Consultants of the Year. The evening was once again hosted by journalist Susanne Schöne, with a deft lightness of touch, a fine sense of humour and a sure feel for the moment. We congratulate Tom Wörl, Sven Kamerar and the entire compamedia team on another outstanding event. Our special thanks go to Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, whose impressive address provided a distinctive impetus. This year, as mentor of TOP CONSULTANT, he takes up the baton from former Federal President Christian Wulff, who for a decade did much to shape the award in this role.
